I spent most of my childhood in Minnetonka. I graduated from Minnetonka High School, and so did my oldest kid. My younger kid goes to Minnetonka. I could go on and on about my connections to Minnetonka because I have deep roots here. Soon those roots will deepen further.
This week I start teaching at the Williston Fitness Center, which is owned and operated by the City of Minnetonka. That makes me a City of Minnetonka employee.
I'm adding two new yoga classes to my weekly schedule, both at Williston:
- Hatha Yoga: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm
- Vinyasa Flow: Sundays at 9:00 am
You might be able to take my classes for free. Williston partners with SilverSneakers, a fitness program for seniors that's included with many Medicare Advantage plans. At this time Williston offers memberships to Minnetonka, Hopkins, and St. Louis Park residents only, but SilverSneakers does not have a residency requirement.
