Practical Resilience for Activists and Organizers

A Workshop Series for Sustaining Your Work and Well-Being

Activism and organizing can be deeply rewarding, but they often come with intense stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue. In these challenging times, building resilience is essential — not just to sustain your efforts but also to protect your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Practical Resilience for Activists and Organizers is a transformational workshop series designed to help you cultivate the resilience you need to thrive in this work. Through evidence-based yoga, mindfulness techniques, and self-compassion practices, you will learn how to manage stress, enhance mental clarity, and stay focused on your purpose. Whether you’re advocating for justice, organizing grassroots movements, or supporting marginalized communities, these workshops will provide you with practical tools to navigate the challenges of activism with greater ease and clarity.

Workshop Structure: Three Core Sessions

The workshop series includes three core sessions, each designed to strengthen a different aspect of resilience:

  • Calm the Body: Yoga Techniques for Stress Relief
Learn simple yet powerful yoga practices to release tension, calm the nervous system, and restore balance to both body and mind.
  • Cultivate Clarity: Mindfulness Strategies for Mental Focus
Discover mindfulness techniques to improve focus, enhance mental clarity, and support decision-making—critical tools for navigating complex and high-stakes situations.
  • Deepen Connection: Build Resilience Through Self-Compassion and Community
Explore practices that nurture self-compassion and cultivate meaningful connections, both for personal well-being and stronger community solidarity.

Each session offers a safe, supportive space to deepen your practice, learn new strategies, and leave with practical tools you can integrate immediately into your daily life and work.

Cost & Accessibility: Dana (Generosity)

Lake many of my teachers, I offer these workshops in the spirit of generosity, following the practice of dana (Sanskrit for “giving”). I believe that resilience and self-care should be accessible to all, particularly those on the frontlines of social justice and advocacy work.
