We often hear that yoga is 5000 years old. Historical evidence suggests most modern yoga poses are only 100 years old. Debates about "authenticity" in yoga can get contentious. This session will summarize recent debates about the history of yoga poses. It will connect modern yoga practice with yoga history.

This conference in Eagan, Minnesota on April 20 & 21, 2024 brings together yogis of all levels from across Minnesota and surrounding states. With something for everyone, we hope to inspire various levels of students, from beginner to the advanced, to the yoga teacher. Bring your own mat and props, and come prepared to nourish your soul, and evolve your yoga practice.
