Have you ever wondered if there is more to yoga than just postures? This program provides a brief overview to the history and philosophy of yoga. From premodern India to modern health and wellness, we'll survey yoga's historical purposes as well as the science-based benefits of modern yoga. Throughout this interactive workshop you will be invited to practice yoga poses, share your ideas, and reflect on your beliefs about yoga history. This program is for anyone, from the experienced yogi to someone who has never set foot in a yoga class.
